Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on ginocompany.com. In short: apart from the records the site needs to work, cookies (for visit statistics and ad measurement) only run if you give your consent.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Your browser’s local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) work in a similar way; in this policy we call all of them “cookies and similar technologies”.
Your choice
When you first visit our site, a banner at the bottom of the page asks for your cookie choice. If you select “Accept”, analytics and marketing cookies run; if you select “Reject”, only necessary records are used. Under “Preferences” you can also choose the two separately. As long as you have not made a choice or have rejected them, Google’s and Meta’s code is not loaded on our site at all.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw your consent, these cookies are deleted from our site’s domain. Your choice is remembered for 12 months, after which you will be asked again.
Necessary cookies and similar technologies
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cerezTercihi | Local storage, first party | Remembers your cookie choice (analytics and marketing consent and the date of your choice). | Until you delete it; you are asked again every 12 months |
dilSecimi | Local storage, first party | Remembers your language choice and that you dismissed the language suggestion. | Until you delete it |
mmBeat | Session storage, first party | Plays the animation of the “Get a quote” button in the mobile menu once per session. | Deleted when the tab is closed |
These records are kept only in your browser, are not sent to us or to third parties, and contain no information that identifies you. Since they are used only to make the site work the way you expect, we do not ask for cookie consent.
Security cookies
Our site is delivered through Cloudflare. To protect the site from malicious traffic, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies such as __cf_bm (30 minutes) or cf_clearance when needed. According to Cloudflare, these cookies are not used to track visitors from site to site.
Analytics cookies (with your consent)
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, where visitors come from and how the site is used. These cookies only run if you select “Accept” or turn on “Analytics” under “Preferences”.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors from one another. | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Persists session state. | 2 years |
Marketing cookies (with your consent)
We use Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure the results of our Google and Meta (Instagram, Facebook) ads and so that relevant ads can be shown to you; for example, this is how visitors who come from an ad and send the form or message us on WhatsApp are counted. These cookies only run if you select “Accept” or turn on “Marketing” under “Preferences”.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au, _gcl_aw and other _gcl_ cookies | Google Ads | Measures ad clicks and the conversions that come from them. | 90 days |
_fbp | Meta Pixel | Recognizes your browser so that Meta ads can be measured and targeted. | 90 days |
_fbc | Meta Pixel | If you came by clicking a Meta ad, stores the click information. | 90 days |
When these services run, the page you visit, where you came from, your device and browser information, your IP address and your actions on the site (sending the form, clicking a WhatsApp, phone or email link) are sent to Google and Meta. Google and Meta may also use cookies on their own domains and may also process this data under their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy, Meta Privacy Policy.
Cookieless visit counter
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see our site’s total visit numbers. This counter does not use cookies or local storage and, according to Cloudflare, does not collect visitors’ personal data; it only shows aggregate information such as page views, country, device and browser type, and where visits come from. It works regardless of your cookie choice.
Third-party content and links
The map on our Contact page is loaded from OpenStreetMap only when you select “Show map”. The map does not set cookies, but while it loads your IP address is sent to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation. The WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook buttons are only links; unless you click them, these links do not set cookies. Meta Pixel is a separate service and only runs with your consent.
How can you manage cookies?
You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. You can also view, delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings; if you delete our site’s records, your cookie choice and language preference are forgotten and the banner appears again.
For details on how your personal data is processed, see our Privacy Policy.
